The Diocesan Library serves the catechetical mission by providing a wide assortment of resources in support of parish faith formation.  Rentals are available in text and video format.  The library provides an on-site Curriculum Center to assist you.  Reservations are accepted by email or by calling (509) 358-7333.

The library is available to all parishes and schools within the diocese through an annual membership.  Memberships are parish-based, so one parish membership applies to all catechetical ministries.  Memberships follow the diocesan fiscal year beginning July 1.  Dues are payable on October 1 of the membership year.

PAY PER USAGE
$6.00 for video rental (VHS), $2.00 for books, $4.00 for curriculum materials.

LOAN POLICY  
The loan period for videos is seven (7) days, books are one month and curriculum is two weeks.  Renewals are permitted if materials are not already reserved.

MATERIALS
All materials are under the user's care. Therefore, all damages/losses are the responsibility of the user.  Returning materials by insured mail provides a record and protects you against financial loss.

RETURNED ITEMS: Items returned in a mailing bag need to be secured with a plastic fastener (found inside the bag) through the bag holes and zipper hole.

NOTE: As a cost-saving measure, parishes located in Spokane are asked to pick up and return library materials in person rather than by mail.  Thank you.
