Twenty members of the Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) celebrated jubilees as an ordained priest or as a Jesuit at a special Mass during Province Days, Saturday, Aug. 14, at Gonzaga University.
The Jesuits celebrating jubilees this year represent nearly 1,100 years of service as members of the Society of Jesus and the priesthood, said Jesuit Father Patrick Lee, Provincial of the Oregon Province. We celebrate their dedication to serving others as pastors, missionaries, educators, writers, administrators, chaplains, and colleagues They inspire us all to serve others and to do our best.
