Immaculate Heart Retreat Center (IHRC), Spokane, will hold its seventh Catechetical Evening of Prayer on Tuesday, July 20.

Msgr. John Steiner (right) will speak on Chapters 19-21 of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults. Topics include Anointing of the Sick and Dying, the Sacrament of Holy Orders, and the Sacrament of Matrimony.

The cost is $35.

The evening begins with Mass at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:35 p.m. The conference starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session and a period of reflection.

Jesuit Father Armand Nigro will be leading IHRC’s annual 30- and 8-Day retreats this year during the month of August.

The 30-Day Retreat is scheduled from Aug. 1-31. Two eight-day retreats will be hosted from Augl 1-9 and Aug. 18-26.

The cost of the retreat is $78 per day.
