Some 30 women of St. Francis Xavier Parish, Spokane, attended the March meeting of the Altar Society. A highlight of the meeting was Florence Coffee’s display of almost 50 of her quilts, wall hangings, runners, and Christmas tree skirts. Coffee was selected as “honored quilter” at the 2002 Spokane Quilt Show. Holding up one of the examples are, from left, Sandy Geier, Rosalie Boileu, Florence Coffee, and Bette Bonck.
