The following list indicates information which the employer, on a local level, must supply for an employee at the time of hire.  The appropriate supervisor should present these to the new employee and review them within the first week of employment.

Specifics of credit union, tax-sheltered annuities, workers’ compensation, social security and other benefits

Notice of any additional benefits offered by the local agency \

Specifics of vacation stipulations: adjustments for part-time employees, special requirements for certain positions, times/dates available
