St. Mary School students in the 4th through 8th grade participated in a Geography Bea sponsored by National Geographic Magazine last month. Each class first held their own competition to select those who would partcipate on a school level. Their answers were scored by a group of judges from the St. Mary School Community. Finalists were: First Place, fifth grader Conner McLean; Second Place, seventh grader Jeffery Harrell; 3rd Place, seventh grader Emily Heine. Conner will now take a test to determine if he will progress to the regional competition.
