Bishop Skylstad formally enrolled Spokane seminarian Matthew Larsen as a candidate for the priesthood at a Mass on Dec. 15 at Bishop White Seminary. Larsen is in his fourth year of theology studies at The Catholic University in Washington D.C. He will be ordained to the diaconate on March 29 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. (IR photo by Jami Cary)
