Bishop William Skylstad will ordain four men to the priesthood on Friday, June 29, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Ave. in Spokane.

Deacons Luis Rivera, James Peak, Lucas Tomson, and Kenneth St. Hilaire will be ordained for the Spokane Diocese.

Two of the new priests, Fathers Tomson and St. Hilaire, will return to Rome for further studies before beginning priestly ministry in Eastern Washington. Fathers Rivera and Peak have been assigned as parochial vicars at St. Patrick Parish, Pasco, and St. Thomas More Parish, Spokane, respectively.
