Troop 61 of Republic, Wash., is proud to announce the advancement to Eagle rank of Matt Slagle (right), a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, where he ministers as an altar server. For his service project, he managed the repair and improvements to the Republic Gun Range last summer. After over 170 man-hours were logged, he completed the cleanup and enhancement project. Matt is a student at Republic High School. Also advanced to Eagle Rank, and a fellow Republic High School student, was Jack Corbett. The boys received their awards during a ceremony Feb. 4.
