Each month a group of fifth and sixth grade students from St. Paschal School, Spokane Valley, look forward to spending a couple of hours at St. Margaret Shelter, a Catholic Charities emergency and transitional shelter for homeless women and their children. The students volunteer their services helping wherever there is a need. Whether it be cleaning high chairs, organizing toys, sorting donations, or playing with the children, the students come away with the satisfaction that they made a difference in someone’s life.
