Effective June 1, Lee Williams is the director of Catholic Charities’ new St. Anne Children and Family Center.

Williams has been involved in the development of childcare programs for 20 years, most recently as coordinator of early childhood programs for the Central Valley School District. In that position she administered seven early childhood program sites, serving some 225 children from culturally diverse backgrounds. 

Williams also has served as the regional manager for the Division of Childcare and Early Learning; Program Manager and Licensor for the Office of Childcare Policy; and Program Developer for Northwest Regional Facilitators.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s, from Eastern Washington University, includes a concentration in early childhood education.

Williams will focus on marketing, enrollment, staffing and curriculum development for the new center, as well as on the multiple tasks involved in getting the new center ready for its Oct. 4 opening.

“I’m excited about starting something brand new, from the beginning,” says Williams. “It’s wonderful to be part of providing a high-quality childcare program for the community. It’s just that simple.”
