Hundreds of luminaria – sacks with candles glowing inside – graced the front steps of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes Jan. 22. The display was part of the Cathedral’s solemn observance of the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade decision legalizing abortion in the United States.
