Pat O’Connor, Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 673, presents a check to Msgr. John Steiner. The funds were donated for the support of seminarians. The check was presented during the Knights’ recent Clergy Appreciation Knight. At that event the state leadership of the Knights of Columbus presented a check for $19,000, part of the KCs’ “Pennies for Heaven” campaign – “a penny a day, a prayer a day,” to support vocations. The proceeds from the state-wide campaign are divided between Washington’s three dioceses. (IR photo from Pat Maloney)
