A special project brought together an ecumenical effort from three youth groups. The Lutheran teens from Thrivant Financial worked with the youth from St. Ambrose Parish, Lind, and St. Agnes, Ritzville, for a “senior prom” earlier this month in Lind’s Grange Hall. The evening included a spaghetti dinner and a dance to honor the senior citizens of both communities. A photo booth was set up for pictures of the “senior couples,” as well as group shots of friends and families. Dinner and dessert were followed by presentation of a small bouquet of roses to each of the senior citizens as a token of the teens’ respect and love.
