The Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) celebrated its 70th anniversary in September with festivities at St. Thomas More Church in Spokane. Events included Mass, celebrated by Bishop Skylstad; a luncheon; and a series of speakers. Among them were Maggie Albo, speaking on respect for life, and Donna Hanson, Bishop’s Secretary for Social Ministries and Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities, speaking on the work of Catholic Charities International.
