Three women welcomed as candidates for Holy Names Sistersthe Inland Register (From the Sept. 11, 2003 edition of the Inland Register) Three women have been accepted as candidates for the Washington Province of the Holy Names Sisters community. Crystal Clark, 26, graduated from Oregon State University two years ago. She served as a volunteer with IMVP (Intercommunity Volunteer Program) at Providence House for homeless families in Seattle last year. She currently works in the Seattle University bookstore, takes theology classes, and lives with Holy Names Sisters in Seattle. Anna Keim, 33, graduated from Eastern Washington State University and recently earned her master’s degree in teaching from Gonzaga University. Keim also has volunteered with IMVP – two summers at Marie Rose House in Wapato, Wash. She is starting her third year of teaching Spanish at Gonzaga Prep, Spokane. She will be living with the Spokane Holy Names Sisters. Michelle Pohlman, 27, is also a high school Spanish teacher. She, too, at Shared Mission in Wapato for the last three summers. Pohlman is from Ohio and currently finishing her master’s degree in teaching while working part-time at Heritage College in Toppenish, Wash. She lives with the Holy Names Sisters in Wapato.
