Bishop’s Dinner, CHAIR-ity auction moves to May 9

Catholic Charities’ annual Bishop’s Dinner and CHAIR-ity auction will be held Friday, May 9, at the Spokane Club this year.

The 24th annual event is underwritten by Moloney, O’Neill, Corkery & Jones, Inc., and U.S. Bank.

The theme of this year’s event is “Ninety Years of Community Service in Spokane.”

Silent auction items will be available for viewing and bidding during the 6 p.m. social hour before dinner.

More than a dozen artists have donated work for the event. Proceeds benefit Catholic Charities’ programs serving the needy of Eastern Washington. Last year’s dinner and auction raised some $38,000.
