Spokane’s St. Patrick School will present its annual Christmas play on Wednesday, Nov. 18, beginning at 10 a.m.

The play, titled Hotel Bethlehem, will be performed in the parish church, 5021 N. Nelson.

All are invited.

In many parts of Italy, the feast of the Epiphany rivals Christmas and Easter in cultural importance. Now, celebrating the revelation of the Lord to the nations will be easier. St. Patrick Parish, 5021 N. Nelson in Spokane, will host an Italian Mass and potluck dinner at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003.

According to the pastor, Father Dan Barnett, many of the original parishioners include Italian heritage in their background. “We wanted to do something so they could celebrate their cultural heritage,” he said; “what better way than with Mass, the ultimate source of our unity?”

The Italian-American club will be assisting with the arrangements.

The potluck dinner will be held in the basement of the school, in the Holy Names Hall. All are invited to attend.
