Photo: All the students of St. Mary School, Spokane, ran laps around the gym earlier this month to earn pledged funds in support of the school. The 22nd annual Fun Run was this school year’s first fund-raiser. The theme this year was “United We Run,” evidenced by the red, white and blue shirts designed by eighth graders Amanda Hesseltine and Carley Lamb. Ready to begin their run are, from left, kindergartners Julee Davies, Joseph Belknap, Claire Esser and Cassondra Fielding. Helping out are parent volunteers Shelley Dolsby and Jo Fielding.
